Glazed-in Vents
Glazed-in window vents are specifically designed to fit along the top of the sealed glass unit, between it and the frame, by reducing the glass height. Trickle Vents are designed to provide fresh air ventilation for improved in-home air quality while the window remains closed and secure. Glazed-in window vents are activated with a single finger and provides passive air exchange between the inside and outside of the home.
What is an Air Vent?
Air vent is usually supplied in pre-painted sections ready for installation with various control options, but there is also a possibility to purchase bars that are prepared for painting and cutting to the required length.
What is a window slot ventilator?
A window slot ventilator works on the same principle as traditional ventilators, but its installation in the window does not require tampering with the window frame.
It is mounted between the window frame and the glass, reducing its height. In other words, the window slot ventilator is embedded in the glass. The length of the window slot ventilator corresponds to the width of the glazing, and there are elements at the side ends that allow for airflow regulation.
Similar to naramowy air vents, it is supplied with an external canopy to protect against moisture and a mesh to prevent insects from entering.
Such solutions are particularly popular in commercial buildings such as schools, offices, or hospitals, where the ventilation system requires a high exchange of air. With Brookvent window slot ventilators, it is easier to deliver the proper amount of air even with a small number of windows.
