CFDM fire dampers are diaphragms in ducted ventilation systems that prevent the spread of fire and products of combustion from one fire segment to another by closing the air duct at points of fire separation structures. The damper diaphragm automatically closes the air duct with a closing spring.
BR-TWIN 1-010 potentiometer
The BR-TWIN 1-010 EC potentiometer is designed for electronically commutated EC motors. It allows for setting two speeds and has a NO input (e.g. for a timer or CO2 sensor). The potentiometer is supplied with a signal up to Uc max = 15V. It has enclosure protection class IP 65.

FUNCTIONS
– The potentiometer offers the possibility to set two speeds V1 and V2
– Control of the speed of the EC fans takes place via a 0-Uc max signal (Uc max = 15V)
– Built-in short-circuit input allows switching between V1 and V2 with an external signal 0/1
– The 0/1 signal for settings switching can be generated by additional external devices, e.g. CO2 sensors or time programmers
– The use of an external BR timer box enables day/night ventilation operation. One external timer box can handle the operation of up to 5 potentiometers. It is recommended to use one programmer box for the fan control potentiometers, e.g. within one air handling unit.
