What is a surface mounted window vent?
A surface mounted window vent is a device consisting of two parts that are attached to the window frame, covering the openings in the frame to supply fresh air to the room.
The internal part, known as the „regulator,” is responsible for controlling the amount of air that is needed at any given time. This can be adjusted by the user through opening or closing the regulator manually, or it can be automatically regulated based on humidity or pressure.
The external part, known as the „inlet,” covers the same openings as the regulator but from the outside. Its purpose is to protect the room from rainwater, and it is equipped with a mesh to prevent insects from entering.
